December 13th: Random Act of Holiday Kindness #13

My friends and I usually meet once a week for lunch, and we often go to Chili's... mainly because we have a coupon for a free appetizer.  The service is horrid at the location we frequent, but we have found one waitress who is good - and our favorite!

Today, we requested her section, and I did my Random Act of Holiday Kindness for her today... an extra tip :)

My boss has a rubber ducky collection in her office, and I saw these in the dollar section of Target and knew she would love them...

So I got them and gave them to her today :)

December 11th: Random Act of Holiday Kindness #11

I am having a belated birthday dinner with a friend tonight...

Her dog passed away last year, and Walgreens had another free 8x10 promotion, so I made this for her...

December 10th: Random Act of Holiday Kindness #10

Dropped off a bunch of donations to Orangewood Children's Foundation for their foster youth, for the holidays.

It ended up being TWO carts worth :)

December 9th: Random Act of Kindness #9

I have been collecting donations, and went shopping today with them for Santa Ana Mercy House - Cold Weather Shelter and also for Orangewood Children's Foundation.

I went a little overboard on the homeless shelter, and almost had to return the three jackets I bought... but then three awesome people came through and are sending me donations to cover them so I could keep them.

Children's Hunger Fund

is trying to raise $50,000 in 30 days.

I made a $12 donation - which helps one child / family.

They are asking for donations in $12 increments.
