Had lunch with my mentee today at Olive Garden.

Our waitress was really nice and friendly, so we left her a RAOK.

I had lunch today with an old neighbor, and we sat and caught up for two hours.  It was so nice.

She has had a lot happen since I saw her last, and I gave her this hoping it would help cheer her up a bit :)

I had to get rid of my last package of whoppers, because I REALLY wanted to eat them.

So, every Friday I pick up breakfast for the office.

(Its my job, Im not THAT nice)  :)

Today, I was running late, and went for donuts at Ace Donuts in Irvine.  The owner of the donut shop called me out one day a while back for my Yelp review... saying he just took over ownership of the shop and was sorry for my bad experience there in the past.  Yes, I still went after leaving a pretty bad Yelp review, lol

I told him I needed to update my review, as him and the other guy working there were really awesome...  so I did.  I updated it, and the next time I went in, he thanked me.

EVERY time I go in there, he acknowledges me, by name and strikes up a conversation with me the entire time I am there.  They are really nice guys and have great donuts.

So they were the recipients of my Whoppers today.

Today, I left this on a coworkers desk and she sent me the sweetest thank you email.

This time around I am doing a lot of repeat RAOKs and I have learned... its not as fun this way  :)

I had to run to the bank for work today, and its not your typical bank, its people at desks, no teller windows, etc so you kind of get to know the few people that work in the office.  They are all very nice, and today, I gave this to the main woman I deal with...

She thanked me SO many times!

Spent today at the pool at BBQing at a friends house... and brought them a little gift:

Ive spent most of my day in doctors offices today, and Im still not done... but I stopped at Carls Jr for a diet coke.

The woman in the drive thru was just so nice...

I stopped in at Nektar this morning to get a "Glow"... and was rushed, sweaty, frustrated.... so decided to make myself feel better by being nice to someone else  :)

When leaving the fair with my mentee today, we had 8 tickets left that could be used for rides or games.  There was nothing for under 10 tickets, so I found a family with three kids, and gave them my card... and told them there were 8 on there, and then they could just add to it.  They were very appreciative.

Had breakfast out this morning with a group of Yelp friends...

And left a goody for our waitress  :)

At the grocery store this morning, I returned my cart and left this in it...

Today I had to run to the grocery store for work, and I left a little RAOK in the cart after I returned it to the cart area.

As I pulled away, I saw a woman with her baby go to get a cart... I hope she was the one to get it!!!

I am putting RAOK cards in them this time around, with my Facebook RAOK page... I would love more interaction there so I hope it helps.

Today, I saw my BFF for lunch, and I gave her a little goodie for her boys, that I cant wait to see next week...

It is a little two pack of mustache notepads... in a mustache bag of course!

Tonight, I was out to dinner, and the restaurant got really packed just as we were about to leave.... which it often does, and we went really early for the specific reason....

So we left our waiter a little RAOK...

RAOK: August 2nd "Breakfast" and "School Supplies"

This morning I was having a quick breakfast at Brueggers... I had so much to do... but wanted to sit down and eat instead of eating in my car on my way to my errands.

I overheard an older woman ask the two guys sitting at the table if she could join them, and that she hates eating alone.  One got up to go into CVS and the other sat there on his phone.  She finally asked if she was bothering him.  She pointed at me, and said she should have sat with me, and bothered me.

When the two guys left, I got up and went and sat with her.

I didnt want her to have to finish her meal, eating alone.

I learned who were regulars every Saturday, that she thought my hot sauce on my breakfast wrap was disgusting, she already had oatmeal for breakfast, she hated bagels (even though she was eating one) and that her friend stood her up for meeting her at CVS.  We had a nice little chat.  :)

I also stopped and picked up some school supplies to donate to The Jewelry Box of Lake Forest for their collection they are doing to help local kids through Outreach.

They are offering 10% off jewelry and watch repairs with any donation... but I forced myself to run out without shopping.

I have found myself really bored lately....

So while I dont think I will commit to an entire month of RAOKs like usual... I am going to commit to doing more of them.
